The Chairman of the Sokoto State ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Isa Sadiq Acida, has commended the process of Saturday’s election in the state. Acida noted that the people of the State turned out to elect their representatives in the 23 Local Governments Areas of the state. Speaking after casting his vote at his polling units in Acids town, Acida expressed his satisfaction with the state electoral committee in the state and the turn out of the people of the Local Government for coming out in large numbers to cast their votes.
He, however, reaffirm his confidence in the candidates of the party to win the elections, which he said will be made possible due to the performance of the state governor. “I am impressed with the arrangements made by the electoral body and we can all see how the process is going on especially in this local government. “I am sure with the performance of the governor who is the leader of the party, we are casting to victory” Also speaking, the state Commissioner for information, Sambo Bello Danchadi, commend the people of the state for their peaceful conduct in the polls.
He however advised the security agents to at alert and professional in ensuring continuous process of the polls Also speaking, the chairmanship candidate of the party in Wurno local government, Abbah Isa Acida, commends the voters for trooping out in large numbers. While expressing his confidence in winning the election, he assured that the interest of the people will be put into consideration by implementing people oriented policies..
