Six months after parting ways with Cape Town Spurs, veteran attacker Surprise Ralani has found a new home. Even at the age of 37, Ralani remains one of the most naturally gifted players the country has seen. It is little wonder then that Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hungry Lions saw fit to snap up the whirly dribbler.

The club took to their official social media channels to announce that the former Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns man has put pen to paper with his hometown club. Ralani has enjoyed a glittery yet quiet career abroad, having turned out in Sweden and Denmark for the better part of his career, before making a return to South Africa in 2018. While he has been making strides of his own, Ralani's son Emile Witbooi looks set to follow in his footsteps and possibly surpass what the Stars of Africa Academy product has achieved.

Witbooi is currently with Ralani's former club Cape Town City, where he is on the brink of first team football, having already made the substitute's bench in the Betway Premiership this season..
