Al-Hilal star Neymar has responded to Memphis Depay's offer to join Brazilian side Corinthians. Neymar is currently working his way back to full fitness after returning to action for the Saudi Pro League champions last month. The Brazilian missed an entire year of action after suffering a serious knee injury in October 2023 while on national team duty.
Memphis invited the Brazilian star to join him at Corinthians despite his allegiance to Santos. “Come and play for Corinthians,” Memphis said, as per “I would really like to play with Neymar at Corinthians. Although I know he is a Santos fan, I think he has a lot of friends at Corinthians.
We have had good times, and he is a source of inspiration for many. I hope everything goes well and that he is happy wherever he goes.” Neymar was at a poker event and was asked about the invite, which he unsurprisingly declined.
“This here is the greatest team in the world. Santos. Forget it," Neymar said, as per Goal.
