Southern California will welcome the first day of spring with warmer temperatures today, with highs reaching the low 80s in desert areas. Daytime highs along the coast will be in the upper 60s. We're looking at highs from 62 to 70 degrees for Orange and L.

A. County beaches. Inland areas will see warmer temperatures, with daytime highs from 69 to 76 degrees in L.



A. County valleys, inland Orange County and the Inland Empire. For the high desert areas like the Antelope Valley, temperatures will stay in the mid- to upper 60s.

Meanwhile, in the Coachella Valley expect daytime highs from 78 to 83 degrees. Tonight's lows will drop to the upper 40s..
