A version of the haldi ritual, it had Sobhita wearing a gorgeous yellow saree, accompanied by jewellery straight from her mother and grandmother's closet. For the ceremony, Sobhita chose a beautiful mustard-yellow saree, exuding major grace.
She paired the saree with statement gold jewellery, including elaborate chokers, layered necklaces, and traditional gold bangles. The entire ensemble was completed with a vintage bridal nose ring, or nath, which added a traditional yet timeless element to her look. The Raata ceremony, which holds great importance in many Telugu weddings, marks an important step for the bride before the official wedding day.
Following the Raata ceremony, Sobhita took part in the Mangalasnaanam ritual, a Telugu version of the Haldi ceremony. In this ritual, turmeric paste is applied to the bride's body as part of the purification process, preparing her for the wedding day.
