Snow totals from lake effect snow

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Lake Effect Snow Warning remains in effect for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties until 6 p.

m. Sunday. Residents in the southtowns and Southern Tier have already seen several inches of snow falling so far, with more expected through the weekend.



This snow will add up at times, not all at once, making it a very manageable event for lake effect standards. Buffalo won't see much more than the occasional stray snow shower from time to time. Here are snow totals reported to the National Weather Service in Buffalo as of 9:30 a.
