James Austin Johnson returns as President Trump in the Jon Hamm and Lizzo SNL episode.

Saturday Night Live was new this week , with actor Jon Hamm taking on hosting duties and Lizzo appearing as musical guest. For the cold open, the sketch comedy show featured a bit on the upcoming Easter holiday. James Austin Johnson was once again President Trump, this time interrupting Jesus (Mikey Day) and the apostles.

Johnson's Trump went into what was essentially a stand up set, discussing everything from religion, the Easter holiday, his tariffs, the economy and more. At one point, he even interacts with the apostles, almost making Day, Sarah Sherman, Ego Nwodim and Kenan Thompson break with laughter. As part of the bit, Thompson even left the stage.
