SNAPSHOT: Three Questar III BOCES teams head to World Finals in Odyssey of the Mind Competition

Teams from Questar III BOCES participated in the New York State Odyssey of the Mind tournament at the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Ten of the nineteen participating teams placed in the top ten statewide, and three advanced to the World Finals. The Odyssey of the Mind program teaches students how to develop and use their natural creativity to become problem solvers.

It brings the classroom to life as students apply what they learn and combine that with their interests and passions to solve unique, open-ended problems. The three teams that will be participating in the 2025 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Michigan State University, May 21-24, 2025, are: Lansingburgh High School (3rd place) – Problem 1, Division 3; Hoosic Valley High School (1st place) – Problem 3, Division 3; Questar III and HVCC STEM High School (3rd place) – Problem 3, Division 3.
