Smart Communications is making big moves to upgrade its services using artificial intelligence (AI). At the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, the telco announced new partnerships with GSMA, Amdocs, Huawei, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These deals will improve customer experiences, boost network performance, and make Smart’s services more efficient.

“These partnerships with tech giants will supercharge our AI-powered transformation,” said Anastacio “Boy” Martirez, Smart COO. “By collaborating with the best in the industry, we can deliver smarter, faster, and more customer-centric services, while future-proofing our network for tomorrow’s demands.”Smart’s deal with GSMA will help simplify digital logins by removing the need for one-time passwords (OTPs).



Instead, next-generation authentication will make logging in faster and more secure.With Amdocs, Smart is rolling out AI-driven personalization through its GenZ Project. This will help tailor services for young users by offering smarter deals and smoother interactions.

HUAWEI will play a key role in upgrading Smart’s network infrastructure. By using AI automation and cloud technology, Smart’s network will become more reliable, scalable, and ready for 5G Standalone (SA) technology.Lastly, Smart’s partnership with AWS will strengthen its ability to process and analyze data quickly.
