Small towns can now log on to tech job boom

Global capability centres (GCCs), the tech & operations arms of MNCs in India, are concentrated in big cities as of now, but the Budget aims for a national framework to guide states in fostering GCCs across tier-2 towns . GCCs are creating more employment than traditionally strong IT services business. This framework will focus on improving talent accessibility, developing infrastructure, building regulation reforms, and establishing industry collaboration mechanisms.
