The grand finale of the SLIM SME Development Awards (SMEDA) 2024, organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in collaboration with the Asia Small Business Federation (ASBF) Sri Lanka Chapter, will take place today at the Monarch Imperial. This prestigious event recognizes and celebrates Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) excelling in marketing, branding, and sales, supporting their growth into sustainable and competitive businesses. Enoch Perera (VP – Events & Sustainability) and Dr. Dilhan Sampath Jayatilleke (VP – Education & Research) emphasized SMEDA’s role in equipping businesses with expert evaluations and strategic insights for long-term success. ASBF Sri Lanka Chapter’s Inaugural President, Gayan Perera, stated that SMEDA 2024 opens doors to global partnerships and knowledge-sharing for SMEs.

Project Chairperson Asanka Udayakumara expressed excitement about awarding winners across 14 business sectors and invited corporate sponsors to engage with Sri Lanka’s most dynamic entrepreneurs. The event reinforces SLIM’s mission of positioning marketing as a key driver of national economic development..
