SL, UAE finalise proposed Agreement on Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments

The delegations of Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates met in Colombo from 27 to 29 January to resume discussions to finalise the proposed Agreement on Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments between Sri Lanka and the UAE. Discussions were held in a friendly, cooperative, and constructive manner, reaching consensus on the text of the proposed agreement. Delegations of Sri Lanka and the UAE were led by Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Ministry Deputy Legal Adviser Tilani Silva and UAE Finance Ministry Economic Expert Dr.
