: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday said that Young India Skill University and Young India Integrated Residential Schools would become a game-changer in the education system. Distributing cycles to girls of government school at Thirmalayapalem, which was taken up by PSR Foundation, he said the skill university is aimed at tapping the hidden talents in students and prepare them in tune with the requirements of the job market. He reminded that Young India Skill University was set up in Fourth City of Hyderabad.
Branches of the Skill University would also be set up at Madira, Huzurabad and Adilabad in the state. He said youths should not completely focus on getting government jobs, they should also try to become entrepreneurs and provide jobs to others. Srinivas Reddy said education and health were accorded priority by the state government.
Teachers should strive to increase enrolment of students in government schools by ensuing quality education. Government schools have been developed on par with corporate schools in terms of infrastructure and quality of education, he added..
