Skier dies in accident at Sugarloaf

A skier is dead after an accident at Sugarloaf Mountain Saturday morning around 9 a.m. A spokesperson for Sugarloaf confirmed the "untimely death" of a guest in a statement provided to Maine's Total Coverage.

Sugarloaf said they are in the process of collecting details surrounding the incident. Sugarloaf is not releasing any other information about the accident but said, "Out of respect and privacy for the family we are unable to share any additional details but express our deepest sympathy to the family for their loss."
