The Reds will face West Ham on the back of a defeat to Fulham last weekend Liverpool will look to capitalise on another Arsenal slip-up when they take on West Ham at Anfield on Sunday (2pm kick-off). Arne Slot's team fell to a 3-2 defeat at Fulham last time out. The Reds will head into the game knowing Arsenal have dropped points after being held to a 1-1 draw to Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.

The gap could be extended to 13 points with a victory over the Hammers. After sitting out the last two games, Alisson will return between the sticks. He had to comply with concussion protocols after being involved in a collision while representing Brazil last month.

Conor Bradley also returned from a six-week injury lay-off last Sunday. "Of course it's a boost, it's always a boost when quality players come back," Slot said. However, Trent Alexander-Arnold will remain unavailable through an ankle injury but Slot expects him to be back before the end of the season.

The right-back is yet to feature for the Reds since reports he agreed to join Real Madrid in the summer. Joe Gomez will also miss out through a thigh injury. Although the visitors, West Ham have no fresh injury concerns, Graham Potter will not be able to call upon Michail Antonio , Aaron Cresswell and Crysencio Summerville .

Niclas Fullkrug meanwhile, has been monitored in the build-up to the game but is expected to be fit. "We like him a lot, but he's had a season that's been really complicated in terms of injury," Potter explained. "So we're now managing that process and trying to make sure that he gets enough time on the pitch safely that we can get the most out of him.

"He just had a little bit of, not fatigue, but just making sure that he’s okay after the weekend. "He’s trained with the team today, so hopefully there’s no reaction and he’ll be in the squad for the weekend.".
