SAN ANTONIO — Six Flags Fiesta Texas says that their steel inverted roller coaster Goliath is getting a "ride theme transformation," naming it Chupacabra. Few legends strike as much fear and curiosity as the Chupacabra, a mythical creature from Texas folklore that stalks the night. Imagine if you could experience the fearsome thrill of the iconic beast right here in Fiesta Texas! Well here pretty soon, Six Flag attendees will be able to do just that as the park has announced their plan on converting the Goliath coaster into an "iconic suspended rollercoaster that brings myth and adrenaline together for an unforgettable themed ride experience," in the Chupacabra.

The ride is said to capture the spirit of Texas' legendary beast with every twist, drop and turn and will better fit the existing San Antonio architecture that surrounds the park’s entrance, according to the park. According to Six Flags, the theming doesn't stop when the ride does. As your train returns to the station, a final ghostly howl will reportedly bid farewell to those who survive the Chupacabra's fury.
