on Oct. 17. Criminal trespass • A 25-year-old Centralia man was arrested for trespassing in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue just after 6:30 a.

on Oct. 16. • A man found sleeping at the back entrance of a business in the 300 block of South Market Boulevard at 8:50 a.

• Homeless people were reportedly camping at a construction site in the 900 block of Southwest 21st Street at approximately 1:10 p.m. on Oct.

16 is under investigation. Suspicious circumstances • A citizen reported hearing two possible gunshots at a neighboring residence in the 400 block of Southwest 19th Street just after 9:15 p.m.

.. but thank(ed) us for our service and gave me two thumbs up as I drove off,” a Chehalis Police Department officer reported.

com. Sentencing Lane Walton, 24, of Aberdeen, pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to two counts of first-degree rape of a child and one count of first-degree child molestation.

He was sentenced 180 months to life for each of the two rape charges and 130 months on the molestation charge, to run concurrently. Lifetime protection orders in favor of the victims are in place. If released, Walton is required to remain on probation for the rest of his life.

FIRE AND EMS CALLS • Between Wednesday morning and Friday morning, Lewis County 911 Communications logged approximately 45 illness-related calls, eight injury-related calls, four fire-related calls, two Lifeline medical alerts, six non-emergency service calls, two vehicle accidents, one overdose, one missing person report, one ambulance request, one medical helicopter request, one 911-hangup call and two other calls. JAIL STATISTICS • As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 140 inmates, including 127 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 102 were reported male and 25 were reported female.
