Sindh lawyers boycott courts over Indus canal project

Lawyers across Sindh are boycotting court proceedings today (Saturday) in protest against the federal government's plan to construct six new canals on the Indus River. The Sindh Bar Council announced that legal practitioners throughout the province will abstain from court appearances, expressing strong opposition to the controversial canal project. In an official statement, the Sindh Bar Association condemned the initiative, stating that the people of Sindh have categorically rejected the proposed construction.
