Sin City Grill closes its doors in Grand Island

Life in downtown Grand Island will no longer be enhanced by the intoxicating aromas produced by Sin City Grill. The restaurant, at 410 W. Third St.

, has closed. The announcement was made earlier this week on Facebook. "Well, it's been one hell of a ride everyone.



Sin City has closed its doors for good, and yes we know it's sudden. It was sudden for us, too. "Cheers to all the memories, warmth and support each and every one of you has shown us," the post reads.

"Until we meet again," concludes the post, signed by the Sin City Crew. Brent Lindner and Brian Paustian opened Sin City Grill in 2010, in the former home of Hawg Wild. The Independent has not been able to reach Lindner for comment.

On Oct. 27, Sin City posted this on Facebook: "Due to a multiple employee injury, we are unable to open this morning. Deep apologies as we keep going through this rough patch.

Thank you for all your continued support." Parents, staff, the entire freshman class ,the band, cheerleaders and more sent of the Grand Island High School volleyball team to the state tournament with a celebration at the school on Wednesday.
