Salman Khan starrer ' Sikandar ' which released in theatres on Sunday, March 30 has been doing decent at the box office. However, the numbers are still considered less when compared to Salman's own record and previous movies. The film opened at Rs 26 crore at the domestic box office, meanwhile, it saw growth on Monday which was Eid.

On Day 2 which was the Eid holiday, the movie made Rs 29 crore at the box office which is still less than the opening number of Khan's films like 'Tiger 3', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Now on day 3, which is Tuesday, there was drop of about 32 per cent according to Sacnilk, and the movie ended up making Rs 19.5 crore.

However, it looks like, the downfall can be more on day 4 which is Wednesday. So far, till the morning shows, it had made only Rs 99 lakhs. By the end of day 4, the film still can be expected to make a double digit number.

The total collection of 'Sikandar' so far is Rs 75.49 crore. The film has been replaced in many theatres with other movies like 'The Diplomat' and Gujarati films like 'All The Best Pandya' in some theatres of Surat and Ahmedabad.

However, in Gaeity, Galaxy and some single screens in Mumbai, the movie is doing better and has replaced 'L2 Empuraan' in many shows. According to trade, this is a low number as it may end up touching Rs 100 crore on day 5. Ideally, for a big Salman movie releasing on Eid, the Rs 100 crore number should have been crossed just within the first three days.
