Pepito was moving northwestward at 15 km/h, with strong to typhoon-force winds extending outwards up to 300 km from the center.
Effects, preparations Some flights for Sunday, Nov. 17, were canceled due to the bad weather caused by Pepito. The Office of Civil Defense said it was preparing for a possible " worst-case scenario " amid the onslaught of Pepito.
