While Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar ’s Good Bad Ugly arrived with all guns blazing, Telugu actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s much-awaited Jack also made its theatrical debut. But as the first-day reactions poured in, it was clear which film managed to grab the spotlight. Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, Jack entered the race with hopes of being a solid commercial entertainer.

Unfortunately, early responses from moviegoers haven’t been kind. The film, which tries to juggle action, comedy, and espionage, seems to have missed the beat for many. Even with stiff competition, Siddhu’s loyal fans didn’t hold back.

They made their way to early shows, eager to support their favourite actor. But once the credits rolled, excitement gave way to a visible let-down. Social media hasn’t minced words either.

Several users were quick to share their frustration. One viewer didn’t sugarcoat things, labelling the film as “half-baked" and complaining about “illogical scenes" in the second half. Film review account Venky Reviews labelled the film disappointing and wrote, “Jack is a spy action comedy that disappoints big time as both the spy portions and comedy fail to deliver for the most part.

Director Bhaskar tried to pack all commercial aspects into this film, but none of them could make a solid impact because of the clumsy screenplay and weak writing. Siddhu tried to carry this one but when the dialogue/scene writing doesn’t support there is not much he can do. The entire spy portion and terrorist villain angle is lackluster and irritates to the core.

The comedy and one liners did not work at all apart from only a few scenes in both halves. Music is bad. Production values are very low and there were many scenes where green screen usage was clearly seen.

Hard to sit through!" And the blows didn’t stop there. A user summed up the film with a sharply worded post. “Jack disappointed.

Siddu Jonnalagadda tried his best to hold the movie. Vaishnavi Chaitanya nothing impact just glamour," read a comment. Another audience member, seemingly fresh from the theatre, added, “Jack Heavily banks on Siddhu’s performance and a quirky lead character.

While the theme is decent, the execution falls flat. Filled with illogical scenes, weak action, poor cinematography, cheap VFX and forgettable songs, it ends up as a half-baked product.".
