Shri Ram Universal School organises seminar on ‘Youth in Democracy’

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Mar 11: The Shri Ram Universal School, in collaboration with the Nations Development Association (NDA) organized ‘Viksit Yuva Samelan’ under Y20 summit under which a seminar on ‘Shared Future: Youth in Democracy and Governance’ was held.The seminar commenced with a welcome note by Principal of The Shri Ram Universal School, Sonika Mahajan.The event was graced by Sunaina Mehta, Principal, Revenue Training Institute, as chief guest.

Shilpa Dubey, DDC Member Vijaypur was special guest.The panel of experts included Aijaz Qaiser, Joint Director, Tourism; Anissa Nabi, Senior Project Manager, J&K Rural Livelihood Mission; Ekshu Sharma, District Information Officer; Dr. Akshay Parihar, BDO Khellani; Maansi Gupta, Director, MG Design; Jasleen Kour, Founder & CEO, Branding Elves; Abheet Sangotra, Youth Advisory Council Member and Apurv Gupta, Director, JKMS.



Prominent speakers were Heena Mahajan, Writer and co-convenor Duggar Baradaari-Team Jammu; Sannak Shrivats, State secretary ABVP; Ananya Manyal, Production Strategy Head, The Unheard Mehfil Podcast; Dheeraj Sharma, social activist; Sunita, Assistant Professor; Dr. Swati Mahajan, Medical Officer, RBSK; Sahil Bharti and Tabassum Nabi.Delegates present on this occasion were Preeti Choudhary, Gudia Gupta, Tarun Uppal, Rahul Kumar, Rakshant Balotra and Sahaj Sabharwal, who talked on youth-led development.

Chairman of The Shri Ram Universal School, Sanjeev Mahajan and Director, Rajni Gupta were also present. The seminar witnessed participation of 200 individuals in audience.The event concluded with vote of thanks by Headmistress, Shivani Vaid and the Chief Functionary of NDA, Sushil Singh Charak.
