Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘ Stree 2 ’ was an all-time blockbuster at the box-office. But in an interview with Komal Nahta recently, director Amar Kaushik revealed how the actress was cast in the film. Kaushik said, “The credit for Shraddha’s casting goes entirely to Dinesh Vijan as they met on the flight.
He told me when she laughs, she looks exactly like Stree, that witch. Something like that he said I am not sure.” They both are now being trolled for their comments.
And at the success bash of Maddock, the actress jokingly pulled the director up and said, ‘ Yeh bahut bol raha hai aajkal ,’ with a laugh. One comment said, ‘Just a simple pookie and cutie kapoor.’ Another said, ‘She has lost her cuteness.
’ One wrote- “These misogynist men are never going to appreciate her work or her acting but see this is how they talk!!!!” Another said, “The joke is on him. First you promote the film on her name, make crores and then start mocking her in interviews to sound cool.” And another said, “First Apar, now him?! Is this some new trend where men from her own films diss her publicly? This is how you talk about your leading lady?? First they promoted the film on her name and after that talking sh!t!Shraddha deserves better team.
