Showers return this afternoon for a damp start to the week

We remain dry for most of your Easter morning, but by the afternoon, we'll track showers sliding into the region, and lingering for a few damp days.

We continue to track an active stretch of spring weather as we head through the end of the weekend. Temperatures will remain rather seasonable, in the mid-50s today, but we have overcast skies for much of the day. By the afternoon, we are tracking the chance for showers to slide up from northern Iowa, and that will bring in the chance for light rain through much of the night as well.

A few showers may linger overnight, but through the day on Monday we will briefly dry out. Highs still top out in the 50s with a light northeast breezy. Tuesday sees another round of showers make it through the region, with highs reaching the 60s in the afternoon.
