#SHOWBIZ: Fasha Sandha insulted by stewardess' sarcastic 'economy class' remark

KUALA LUMPUR: "What's wrong with going economy class? Economy class or business class, we're all the same."Actress Fasha Sandha said this on Instagram yesterday, after she was recently insulted by an air stewardess on board a local flight.Fasha said that when she and her family boarded an economy class flight, an air stewardess greeted her by saying, "Fasha Sandha going on economy class?" implying that she could not afford to board a business class flight.

"My children and I were shocked because we've never been greeted with such sarcasm."I took a picture of the flight attendant to file a complaint with the airline's customer service," she said.Fasha said that her action was noticed by another stewardess.



"This other stewardess asked for clarification regarding my actions. I explained to her why I did that."The first stewardess then apologised to me for her actions.

"Fasha hoped that her bad experience would serve as a lesson to all flight attendants to watch their words. "I have high regard for all flight attendants and when I was young I aspired to be one. Being rude has no place in our society, we must not tarnish the image of the profession of air stewardesses.
