KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Kong actress Casper Chan has left behind the glitz and glamour of the entertainment scene, embracing a more modest life as a hawker instead.She recently revealed on Douyin, China's version of TikTok, that she had followed in the footsteps of former actor Vin Choi and set up her own stall selling chicken feet.The 42-year-old made it clear that she was not concerned about how others perceives her, and said: "I am here to learn how to set up a stall.
I want to be the queen of chicken feet!"Chan's announcement was met with support from netizens, with many praising the former TVB actress for her bold career shift."I admire some Hong Kong celebrities for their ability to let go and move on," said one fan."Nothing to be embarrassed about.
This is just a normal person."Chan joined show business in 2001 after competing in the Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant.Over the years, she has starred in a variety of TVB dramas such as Virtues Of Harmony II (2003), Wars Of In-Laws (2005), and 7 Days In Life (2011).
