WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — Former President Donald Trump was unharmed Sunday following what the FBI described as an "apparent assassination attempt" at his West Palm Beach golf course. The incident comes just weeks after another attempt on his life during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, Secret Service agents spotted a man with an AK-style rifle hiding in the shrubbery approximately 400 yards from where Trump was playing.

After an agent fired at the suspect, the man fled, leaving behind the rifle, two backpacks, and a GoPro camera. The suspect was apprehended by law enforcement on Interstate 95. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the motive behind the attack.
