Shocking moment mother, 43, drags two police officers along the road with her car after being pulled...

This is the horrifying moment a mother dragged two police officers along the road while speeding off after being pulled over. Lauren Baird, 43, gave a false name and details to officers in Aviemore in Scotland after a computer check revealed the vehicle had no insurance. After police challenged her and informed her she was under arrest, Baird sped off.

She was caught on dashcam dragging the two officers along the B9152 as they narrowly avoided being dragged under her wheels. The incident in July 2023 was captured on police dashcam footage which was shown at Inverness Sheriff Court. One officer was able to detach himself from the car after travelling a few feet down the road but a female officer could not get free until several yards down the road.
