Continuing its legacy of community service, Shinnyo-en Lanka Preschool, operated by Shinnyo-en Japan, held its 33rd Annual Blood Donation Drive recently at the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) in Narahenpita. The event underscored Shinnyo-en Lanka’s dedication to fostering compassion and social responsibility.Reflecting on the event’s impact and the community’s remarkable involvement, Director Ikeda Mikinori of Shinnyo-en Lanka Preschool said, “The blood donation program truly embodies the core principle of selflessly serving others, a belief that our Founders deeply held as the fundamental Buddhist principle of ‘Dana’ or selfless giving.
