REMSEN — A Good Friday “Praise Hymn” concert at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at the Steuben Town Hall, 9458 Soule Road will feature award-winning recording artist Sherry Anne.
Born partially deaf and with a speech impairment, the Billboard-charting artist inspires audiences with her elegant voice, a personal journey of overcoming obstacles and challenges, faith-filled music, and a message of hope. Her “Hymns” CD is a collection of classic and beloved hymns, including “Amazing Grace,” “Power in the Blood,” and medleys of many other favorites. She has shared her music and her story in The Ark Encounter, Gaither Homecoming Hershey, and as a special guest at Gaither Vocal Band concerts.
As a songwriter, she has collaborated with producer Toni Jolene Clay on fan favorites “Believe,” “Who Do You Say I Am,” and “Still the God Who Parts the Sea.” Admission is free and the hall is handicapped accessible. The event is hosted by the Steuben Community Church.
