Sheri Lorean Simpson, 66 of Aptos California, passed away September 30, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving & adorning family. Sheri was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Thomas & Janet Cole on November 27, 1957. Her father was employed in Army Aviation, so Sheri’s family moved frequently from the East Coast to West Coast.
She arrived in beautiful Northern California in 1970 & graduated from Aptos High School in 1976. Sheri was a dental hygienist & then moved on to get a degree in Massage Therapy, at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, Ca. Sheri was a successful massage therapist for 37 years.
Her healing nature & expertise positively affected her clients & community. Sheri enjoyed adventuring in nature, from the tropical beaches of Mexico & the Hawaiian islands, to the vivid orange canyons of Utah, and the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains. A avid gardener, you could find Sheri in the sun-shining afternoons happy outside in her garden.
Sheri was a loving wife, amazing mother, sister, aunt & friend to many. She was a shining light of positivity, fun and peace in her family. She was truly beautiful inside & out.
Her sweet soul, caring nature, home cooking and wisdom will be greatly missed. Sheri is survived by her life partner Fred Lattanzio, her daughter Alyse Lattanzio-Nice, sister Bridgette Delane, brother Tom Cole, and nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Nathan Simpson, and parents Thomas & Janet Cole.
