Speculation surrounding Shedeur Sanders being selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 21st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has begun to gain traction after news broke about his visit to the Steel City—and apparently, the visit went very well.Sanders, one of the top QB prospects who is expected to be drafted within the first 10 picks of the 2025 NFL Draft, made an appearance on Kay Adams' Up & Adams show for an interview.The Colorado Buffaloes QB prospect said it would be a mistake for other organizations to let him drop to the 21st overall pick with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He also compared HC Mike Tomlin to his father, Hall of Fame CB Deion Sanders, who he said was responsible for why the Steelers win so many games.Adams then asked a not-so-subtle, hard-hitting set of questions—"Did Aaron Rodgers come up?" and "Who brought him up, you or them?"Sanders downplayed the question by at first pretending not to hear her:"Hm?
