Following Colorado's pro day last week, Shedeur Sanders will visit a different AFC North team than many might expect.

Shedeur Sanders is one of the top two quarterbacks in the NFL draft, but his draft position has fluctuated significantly more than that of Cam Ward, the projected No. 1 overall pick. With the Tennessee Titans canceling Sanders' private workout, what other teams could the Colorado quarterback land with? On Tuesday afternoon, Fox Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported that Sanders will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers later this week.

The Steelers currently only own the No. 21 pick in the draft, but with a hole at the quarterback position, they are doing their due diligence on the possible top quarterback on their board. Pittsburgh could be a candidate to trade up in the draft should Sanders fall out of the top 10.

Sanders certainly would provide Pittsburgh with more future stability than Rodgers and allow the Steelers to tailor their offense around the rookie Colorado quarterback. With only Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson as the quarterbacks on the roster, Sanders would get the chance to start immediately.Sanders was the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year last season, throwing for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns while completing 74% of his passes.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are Sanders' first reported official visit, and it won't be the last, as private visits heat up the next two weeks before the draft.Follow Charlie Strella on X, Threads, and Instagram.Contact/Follow us @BuffaloesWire on X (Twitter), and like our page on Facebook for ongoing coverage of Colorado news, notes and opinions.
