Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter helped lead the Colorado Buffaloes to a 49-24 win over the Utah Utes on Saturday. Colorado improved to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 conference play with the win. Colorado hit the ground running against Utah early in the first quarter, getting out to a 14-3 lead thanks to a touchdown pass from Sanders and a LaJohntay Wester punt return touchdown.
The Buffaloes scored another touchdown in the second quarter and held Utah to two field goals to go into halftime up 21-9. The Utes scored their first touchdown in the third quarter but could not keep up with Colorado's offense in the second half as the Buffaloes added four more touchdowns. Sanders finished with 340 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
Hunter had 55 receiving yards, five rushing yards, and one touchdown on offense. Hunter had one fumble recovery, one interception, and three total tackles on defense. Fox Sports' Jenny Taft interviewed Sanders and Hunter after the game.

We didn't play our best at all, and we still, you know, got the job done. That's the main thing. We're gonna go back home and kinda enjoy the win.

"Take countability. There’s always room to be better." After the comments, others were afraid to see what Colorado's best game would look like.
"Wasn't his best game, and threw for over 300 yards and forgot how many TD's." another said . "I'm scared to watch their best game seriously.
" One fan was glad to see that Sanders was not settling for mediocrity. "Not settling for mediocrity in their eyes, no complacency setting in!" they said . "Love to see it!" Colorado's next game is against the Kansas Jayhawks on Nov.
