Read More Hollywood actor Sharon Stone made a significant revelation about Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick’s upcoming film, Another Simple Favor. She claimed she was ousted from the film “without any reason". For the unversed, Another Simple Favor found itself in several controversies before release; most of which are about alleged tension between Lively and Kendrick.
Stone’s claims never surfaced online. While Sharon Stone didn’t name anyone, she dropped a comment on an E! News reel about the film and how Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick apparently don’t go along. She wrote, “I LOVED being cast and removed from my role unexpectedly for no reason at all LOVED it (sic).
" Another Simple Favor is a sequel to A Simple Favor, reuniting Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick. Director Paul Fieg recently dismissed a fan’s observation on X, who claimed that Lively was “terrified to walk the carpet" as Kendrick is miffed and never wants to work with the Gossip Girl actor again. “Um .
.. you’re wrong", wrote Fieg, putting an end to rumours of an ongoing rift.
Another Simple Favor is written by Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis. Feig and Laura Fischer serve as producers, with cinematography by John Schwartzman and music composed by Theodore Shapiro. The film releases on Prime Video on May 1.
As for Anna Kendrick, her most recent appearance was in Woman of the Hour, a film she also directed. Blake Lively was last seen in It Ends With Us, starring alongside Justin Baldoni and Brandon Sklenar. The film has been in the hub of controversies after Lively sued Baldoni on charges of “severe emotional distress", “mental anguish", and “financial losses".
Reportedly, she filed a lawsuit demanding money for “lost wages". Meanwhile, Sharon Stone is yet to explain her comment on Another Simple Favor casting. She was last seen in the 2024 documentary, Sharon Stone: Survival Instinct.
