Sharon Osbourne is open to the idea of a Black Sabbath hologram show happening in the future. It comes as Ozzy Osbourne, 76, prepares to reunite with his bandmates - Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward - for a final performance. On July 5th, the heavy metal legends will headline a one-day festival at Villa Park in Birmingham, featuring bands they’ve inspired, including Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira, and Anthrax.
There will also be performances from Alice In Chains and Lamb of God, as well as a supergroup performance of members from Limp Bizkit, Van Halen, The Smashing Pumpkins and Faith No More. She responded, “Sure I would, yeah.
” She added, “Technology keeps moving on and on. You can do incredible things now, so what you could do in five years will be even better. You never know what the opportunities are.
” Sharon also addressed the topic of drummer Bill Ward’s return, after he wasn’t part of Sabbath’s farewell tour, The End, in 2016/2017, when speaking to the publication. She said, “Bill has always been fantastic with Ozzy." She continued, “I always say they’ve got that invisible connection between the four of them, and he’s gonna be there, which is amazing.
” The mon-of-three added, “I’m not going to bulls--- you and say we’re the best of friends. We’re not. We are such different people.
But I respect Bill so much, and I’m so happy that he has agreed to come, for the band and for the fans.” Back in February, Ozzy admitted that while he is keen to perform on stage, he will only he will do “bits and pieces” for the Black Sabbath gig, as he doesn’t think he can do the whole set. Ozzy said, “I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them. I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.” The star, who often needs a wheelchair, talked about his mobility issues on his SiriusXM radio show Ozzy Speaks.
He said, “I am trying to get back on my feet...
When you get up in the morning, you just jump out of bed. I have to balance myself, but I’m not dead. I’m still actively doing things.
