The senior actress expressed concern after her son, Saif Ali Khan, received an official letter from Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore recently expressed concern over BCCI's alleged decision to retire the Pataudi Trophy. She revealed that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) sent official letter to her son Saif Ali Khan regarding the decision. Although the decision hasn't been finalised yet, the senior actress had a strong reaction to it.

The Pataudi Trophy was introduced in 2007 to commemorate India vs England's first Test match in 1932. If the BCCI wants to or does not want to remember Tiger’s legacy, it is for them to decide," she told the Hindustan Times. On the other hand, ECB's spokesperson mentioned, "We don’t have any comment on the story at the moment.
