Shanaya Kapoor never minces her words when it comes to advocating the safety of pets. Having said that, the soon-to-be actress recently dropped a post on social media wherein she reacted to a viral video that showcased a pet in grave danger.

In her post, Shanaya reshared the purported clip along with a note to express her anger for the pet owner’s negligence towards his pup. She also remarked that the pets do not deserve to suffer due to humans’ careless attitude. Calling out people for neglecting the safety of furry canines, Shanaya Kapoor wrote, “No pet deserves to suffer due to human negligence.

If you can’t ensure their safety, you do not deserve a pet. Heartbreaking." As for the video shared by the actress, it shows a man rushing to catch his train with his dog in tow.

In his hurry, the man forced his pet to board but owing to the speed of the train, the canine struggled to jump. Consequently, the dog tragically fell off the platform and was nearly run over by the train but somehow, it managed to crawl to the other side. The text overlay the video reads, “When money can’t buy wisdom.

A golden retriever barely survived after being dragged onto the railway tracks due to its owner’s careless attempt to board a moving train. Pets trust us with their lives, yet negligence like this puts them in grave danger. How irresponsible have we become?" In terms of work, Shanaya Kapoor’s slate looks solid.

She has films like Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan with Vikrant Massey, Bejoy Nambiar’s Tu Yaa Main and Vrushabha with Mohanlal in her kitty. That’s not all. Shanaya has also bagged the lead role in the third project of the Student Of The Year franchise.

News18 Showsha, regarding Karan Johar’s film, also got informed that actor Tusharr Khanna has auditioned for the male lead in the movie and is being considered by the makers for the same. “Auditions for the male lead have been happening for a long time now. Tusharr (Khanna) also auditioned, and it went well.

The casting team is impressed and is considering signing him as one of the male leads. But nothing has been finalised as of now," the source said. Shanaya’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is expected to hit the big screens by mid-2025.
