Shakib’s simple Eid with family and friends

Two of Shakib Khan’s films were released in cinemas this Eid-ul-Fitr– “Borbaad” and “Antaratma”. Dhallywood's Superstar shared that he did not have any special plans on the occasion. However he spent time with family and friends which is one of the essential things he does at the festivals.

"I never really have many plans for Eid. In the morning, I go for prayers. After returning, the first thing I eat is payesh cooked by my mother, which is my absolute favourite.



Apart from that, I enjoy various home-cooked dishes." As he keeps track of how his released films are going to the theatres, he also greets relatives. "In the afternoon, I checked on my film that has been released for Eid.

I also tried to find out how it performed in different cinemas on the first day. Relatives visited our home, and I spent time with them, chatted and caught up with everyone." Shakib also said that he usually likes to talk to his friends from both home and abroad on the occasion.
