The accused was reportedly tracking Shah Rukh Khan and his family, including his son Aryan Khan, raising concerns about their safety.
The Mumbai Police revealed that Faizan made an anonymous call on November 7, threatening Shah Rukh Khan’s life and demanding Rs 50 lakh in extortion. After tracing the call to Raipur, the police discovered that the phone used for the threat belonged to Faizan. While the lawyer initially claimed his phone was stolen and that he was being framed, forensic investigations told a different story.
According to a report, Faizan conducted extensive online searches to gather sensitive details about Shah Rukh Khan’s family, including their security arrangements and movements. He also kept a close watch on Aryan Khan’s activities. The Bandra Police found this evidence on a second mobile phone recovered during the investigation.
Currently in judicial custody, Faizan has been giving contradictory and vague answers regarding his motives. Meanwhile, both Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan have been provided Y-plus security cover by the Maharashtra government to ensure their safety.
