Released in 2007, the film marked Deepika Padukone’s entry into the film industry. However, Kumar was disappointed with a particular scene in the Farah Khan directorial. In one of the scenes in the film, Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Om, was seen entering a movie premiere by stealing the veteran actor’s pass.
This left Manoj Kumar disappointed. The veteran actor had asked Farah Khan to remove the scene from the film. The makers also agreed to his demand, and the scene was deleted while the film was being premiered in India.
Later, Shah Rukh Khan also apologized to Kumar while interacting with the media and said, “I was completely wrong...
