Jonathan Dawson, 42, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday (April 8) charged with the single offence. Dawson, of Delphinium Way, is alleged to have committed the assault in Blackburn in August. He entered a not-guilty plea and a trial date was set for June 8, 2026.
He was bailed ahead of a pre-trial review on April 13, 2026..
