Among those allegedly involved are the wife of the Director General of Police, a cousin, and even a sister of the President.
The tapes reportedly surfaced during an investigation into Engonga’s suspected financial misconduct, with a raid on his home uncovering hundreds of videos. In response, Equatorial Guinea’s government swiftly condemned the scandal and instituted a ban on sexual activities within government offices. Authorities labeled the leaked content as deeply damaging to the nation’s international image and have vowed to impose stricter regulations on workplace conduct.
