‘Sessions:’ British Addiction Drama From Hyprr Films Moves Into Production

Billboard Women in Music 2025 Cameras have started rolling on Sessions , a British addiction drama from Indie production house Hyprr Films . The film follows Richie, played by Daniel O’Reilly, a man battling his demons while navigating the impact of substance abuse on his relationships and mental health. The cast features Jonas Armstrong ( The Bay ), Jaime Winstone ( Sumotherhood ), Leo Gregory ( Green Street ), Preeya Kalidas ( Four Lions ), Percelle Ascott ( Doctor Who ), and Rupert Graves ( Sherlock ).

Giles Alderson ( The Dare ) will direct. The film is written by O’Reilly, Jonathan Kogan, Alderson, and Tobias Vees, with Kate Plantin serving as Casting Director. “I’m delighted to be directing this film and working with such an incredible cast and crew on a project that has real heart,” Alderson said in a statement. “It’s an important story that needs to be told.

” The production has teamed with the mental health charity Men and Their Emotions (M.A.T.
