SELENA Gomez has reportedly stopped spending time with Taylor Swift, partly because she chooses not to be around Swift’s other friends. Insiders close to Gomez disclosed to Daily Express US that this is one of the reasons for her absence from gatherings with Swift. Taylor is frequently seen on night outs with her girlfriends, such as Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, and Brittany Mahomes, but not with Gomez.
However, Gomez, has been noticeably absent from these gatherings recently. The Love Story hitmaker was spotted with Gomez in January. Sources told the outlet that the singer felt like an “outsider” and “has matured out of Taylor’s circle of friends.
” The source further added, “She has no desire to be out with Blake, or Ice Spice, or Brittany or really any of those girls.” Gomez seemed heartbroken over missing group gatherings in February, as indicated by the sad, teary-faced emoji she posted in response to an Instagram photo. The picture showed Swift enjoying time with friends, including Lana Del Rey and Ice Spice.
However, People You Know singer did failed to attend Swift’s Rhode Island party in August. Previously it was reported that Lively, and Gomez are not friends, do not “mix,” and choose to spend time with Swift individually. It is known that they have not attended several events together hosted by Swift, such as birthday celebrations, Fourth of July parties, and New Year’s Eve festivities.
