Selena Gomez gave Benny Blanco a touching birthday shout-out. The “Only Murders in the Building” star celebrated her fiancé with an Instagram slideshow Saturday, gushing that she is “not sure what [she] did to deserve” him. “But damn am I glad you were born,” she added.
“happy birthday baby ♥️.” The social media slideshow kicked off with a photo of Blanco, 37, kissing his 32-year-old partner’s forehead. The rest of the carousel included snaps of the couple posing on a snowy getaway, cuddling up on a couch, snapping selfies in a car and more.
The upload came on the heels of Hailey Bieber making headlines for allegedly “liking” a TikTok video mocking Gomez and Blanco’s photo shoot for Interview magazine . The model, however, denied showing support for the shady post via her rep. “This never happened,” Bieber’s spokesperson said Sunday.
“This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative.” Gomez and Bieber, 28, have repeatedly made headlines for an alleged feud due to their mutual connection to Justin Bieber. The “Baby” singer dated Gomez on and off from 2010 to 2018 and married Hailey just months after their final breakup.
The couple, who renewed their vows in 2024, are the parents of 6-month-old son Jack . Gomez, for her part, began dating Blanco in 2023, and the record producer proposed in December of the following year. Hailey, notably, reacted to the pair’s engagement news by “liking” Gomez’s Instagram announcement .
