Selena Gomez has opened up about her inability to carry children and her plans for motherhood in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. Gomez, who recently attended the 2024 Emmys , revealed: "I unfortunately can't carry my own children . I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy.

That was something I had to grieve." The Single Soon singer, who has been public about her struggles with lupus and bipolar disorder, expressed optimism about alternative paths to parenthood. " Gomez, who has been dating music producer Benny Blanco for over a year, has reportedly been open about her fertility challenges in their relationship. Despite the setbacks, Gomez remains determined to become a mother. "At the end of the day, I don't care," she told Vanity Fair.
