Selangor gazettes fatwa declaring GISBH as deviant

State religious council says group's teachings, activities not in line with Islam.

The Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) has confirmed that a fatwa declaring that Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings’ (GISBH) teachings and activities deviate from Islam has been gazetted. Mais chairperson Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said in a statement that the fatwa was approved by the Selangor ruler and was published in the state government gazette on Oct 16.
