Seema Sajdeh Says Divorce From Sohail Khan Forced Her To Learn And Grow: ‘We Become So Co-Dependent...’

Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives star Seema Sajdeh reflected on her transformation post divorce from Sohail Khan. Seema Sajdeh recently opened up about her divorce from Sohail Khan, and how it forced her to learn and grow. She said that one becomes so complacent in a marriage that they start blaming their partner for everything.

Seema shared that she had become extremely co-dependent, and that post their divorce, she has had to figure out a lot of things- including health insurance- on her own. In a conversation with Janice Sequeira on the first episode of The Healing Circle, Seema Sajdeh said, “In a way, the divorce was a catalyst- it forced me to learn and grow. You become so complacent in a marriage that you start blaming your partner for everything.



But relationships are hard, they require work every single day. There’s so much I’ve had to figure out on my own- like something as basic as health insurance after I had surgery. I had to learn it all.

" She further added, “I think I’m blossoming now, not because of the divorce alone, but because I’ve grown up. I’m independent, I can support myself, take care of myself. I have the confidence to walk into a restaurant alone, eat a meal, travel solo- and feel complete.

We become so co-dependent that we end up blaming the marriage. But the truth is, I just hadn’t learned how to be by myself." Seema Sajdeh was married to Bollywood actor Sohail Khan from 1998 to 2022.

They are parents to two sons- Nirvan and Yohan. Meanwhile, Seema Sajdeh is now dating Vikram Ahuja, her ex-fiance whom she previously left for Sohail Khan. Seema and Vikram’s rekindled romance was revealed in the final episode of the third season of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives.

Seema also opened up about reuniting with her childhood sweetheart Vikram in a conversation with India Today. She said, “It’s not been easy to navigate, especially from the point of view that we are not young anymore. I am not young.

I have a history, I have two children, and my partner has two kids. There are a lot more people involved. It’s different when you break up and move on when you are younger.

When you are older, you have to take everyone’s feelings and sentiments into account.".
